Biographical details

J. Cole Brewer was raised in Arcadia, Florida and graduated from DeSoto County High School. Cole attended undergrad at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida where he majored in Citrus. While at Florida Southern, Cole was an active member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.

Cole earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and began practicing law in Lake Placid, Florida. While in Lake Placid, Cole focused on real estate, foreclosures, land use, estate planning, administrative law, and general litigation. In 2019, Cole was presented with an opportunity to come home to Arcadia and work for Bucky Waldron. Cole and Bucky later formed Waldron & Brewer, P.A. which was then changed to J. Cole Brewer, P.A.

Cole is thankful for the opportunity to live, serve, and work in his hometown. In his spare time, Cole enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time with his bird dogs (English Pointers, German Shorthair Pointer and Boykin Spaniels). In addition to practicing law, Cole is also a citrus grower with his brother in Arcadia, Florida.

Cole currently practices in the areas of: Probate, Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Real Property, Title Insurance, General Business Law, Contracts, Agriculture Law, and a variety of other practice areas depending on his client’s needs.
